COBLESKILL, N.Y.- The Keystone College Giants men's basketball team fell 74-56 to SUNY Cobleskill, Tuesday night.
Jden Golding (Jacksonville, Fla./Clay) led the Giants with 20 points on 7-of-17 shooting and added five rebounds. Ahmodrion Jones (Wilmington, Del./Delcastle Tech) added 13 points on 4-of-14 shooting. He also handed out eight assists and pulled in four rebounds. PJ Murphy (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) chipped in 12 points and had two steals.
Leading the way for Cobleskill was Chrischen Chung, who poured in 24 points on 9‑of-16 shooting, including 6‑of-7 from three‑point land. He also chipped in five rebounds and four assists. Andrew Wright added 13 points and seven rebounds.
The Giants trailed 37-23 at halftime and could never quite close the gap in the second half, hanging on for much of the night but unable to sustain the momentum needed to keep pace.
Keystone shot 31 percent from the field (18-of-58) and 21.7 percent (5-of-23) from beyond the arc. The Fighting Tigers held a 47-43 rebounding advantage.
Keystone (1-4) heads to Utica University on Saturday at 2 p.m.
