WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.- The Keystone College wrestling team finished the 2024-2025 season this weekend at the NCAA Division III Region 2 Qualifier which was hosted by Lycoming College.
The Giants placed 19th of 19 teams at the regional event with 19.0 points. Stevens took the team with 153.0 points followed by Ithaca in second at 115.5 and Wilkes in third at 112.0 points.
Two Keystone wrestlers picked up wins as Mariano Monacelli (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) earned a victory in the preliminary at 174 pounds where he claimed an 8-3 decision victory against Casey Cooper of Elmira. Rocco Arudini won by major decision at 285 where he defeated Ithaca's Charlie Turner 14-3 in the consolation first round.
