LANCASTER, Pa.- The Keystone College women's volleyball team dropped two matches to No. 9 Washington and Lee and Franklin and Marshall Saturday afternoon.
Washington and Lee 3, Keystone 0
The Generals defeated the Giants by scores of 25-10, 25-9, and 25-21.
Indya Rogers (Leeds, Ala./Leeds) posted six kills. Hailey Mowry (Vail, Ariz./Cienega) added five kills and 10 assists. Nataly Bermudez (Las Vegas, NV/Valley) and Serenity Marshall (Ridgefield, Wash./Ridgefield) posted 13 and 11 digs, respectively.
Washington and Lee was led by Lexie Stone who had seven kills. Addi Johnson and Turi Trainor combined for 17 assists. Penelope Quiles recorded a match high 16 digs.
Franklin & Marshall 3, Keystone 0
The Giants put up a fight in the first set as they lost, 25-22. However, the Diplomats would roll through the next two sets, 25-6 and 25-11.
Rogers added three kills while Madison Woods (Camrose, Alberta, Canada/Ecole Camrose Composite) tallied three service aces. Defensively, Mowry totaled seven digs, and Jamilah Higgins (Cincinnati, Ohio/Purcell Martin) added three total blocks/
For Franklin and Marshall, Melissa Benkowitz complied 11 digs and six service aces. Liah Perez added 10 assists.
What's Next
Keystone (0-7) will head to Upstate New York to face Elmira College on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 6 p.m.
