COBLESKILL, N.Y.- The Keystone College men's soccer team had a heartbreaking 2-1 defeat at SUNY Cobleskill Saturday afternoon.
Lenskey Raoul (Neptune Township, N.J./Neptune) scored what would be the only goal for the Giants in the 16th minute off an assist from Bethson Fuentes (Dale City, Va./Garfield). Cobleskill was able to equalize the match as Spencer Reisman provided an unassisted tally in the 24th minute.
The match would remain scoreless until Reisman provided a pass to Gavin McEnroe who would score what would be the game winning goal in the 85th minute.
The Fighting Tigers posted 20 shots with 11 of them being on target, compared to the Giants' four shots with two of them being on goal.
Cobleskill won the corner kick battle with a 12-4 margin.
Kolten McVean (Dickinson, Tex./Dickinson) was in the net and made nine saves.
Keystone (2-5) heads to The College of New Jersey for their nonconference finale on Wednesday, Sept. 24.
