LA PLUME, PA- The Keystone College men's soccer team continued its 2026 season Wednesday evening, hosting Moravian University at the Keystone Turf Field and Track Complex.
The Giants battled throughout the 90-minute contest, with goalkeeper James Kallens (Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central Regional) making eight saves to keep Keystone within reach throughout the match. Keystone also generated three shots on goal, including a pair from sophomore John Covert (Union Beach, NJ/Keyport).
Moravian opened the scoring in the 35th minute when Selman Eris found the back of the net off an assist from Rafi Sanjuan. Sanjuan added a goal from the penalty spot less than three minutes later, before Nick Marino scored in the 41st minute to give the visitors a 3-0 advantage heading into halftime.
Keystone came out of the break looking to create opportunities, with Covert, Lenskey Raoul (Neptune Township, NJ/Neptune) and Aiden Cummings (Baltimore, MD/Mount Saint Joseph) each recording shots during the second half. Covert finished the night with three total shots and two on goal, while Christiano Richards added a shot on target.
Kallens continued to anchor the Giants in goal during the second half, recording two additional saves to finish with eight for the match.
Keystone finished the evening with eight total shots and two corner kicks, while the Giants' defensive effort held Moravian scoreless over the final 45 minutes.
The Giants jump back into action against Wilson College to begin United East Conference play on September 26 at 3:30 PM.
