Johnny McGarvey begins his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Keystone College baseball team. In addition to being an assistant baseball coach, McGarvey works as an admissions counselor on the campus of Keystone.
McGarvey joins the program after previously serving as an assistant baseball coach at Immaculata University. With the Mighty Macs, they qualified for the Atlantic East Conference Tournament in 2019 and 2021. In his final season with the team, Immaculata reached the Atlantic East Conference Championship.
McGarvey began his collegiate playing career at Penn State Brandywine and later transferred to Penn State Berks. He earned NEAC First Team honors in 2016.
A native of Wilmington, Del., McGarvey graduated from Penn State Berks with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. He later received his master's degree in sports leadership management from Keystone in May 2025.
