Ryan Smyth began coaching at Keystone College following a two-year playing career with the Giants.
The New Jersey-native was elevated to associate head coach after six years as an assistant and serves as head coach for JV games.
Smyth coached with the Brewster Whitecaps of the Cape Cod Baseball League along with head coach Jamie Shevchik, where they've won league championships in 2017 and 2021. He was named the manager of the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League on November 18, 2022. Previously, Smyth spent six years in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) both as an assistant and manager.
After playing stints at Boston College and Brookdale Community College (N.J.), Smyth helped Keystone post a combined record of 70-15 during his playing career and was named to the All-CSAC Second Team in 2009. He later continued his playing career with the Evansville Otters in the Frontier League.
