Wood has been named an assistant women's lacrosse coach for the 2019 season.
Wood played two seasons at Division II West Chester University from 2013-14, playing in 20 career games for the Rams, leading the team to an overall record of 32-9.
From 2015-16, Wood played at King's College in Wilkes-Barre, where she played in 39 games, tallying 20 goals, seven assists and 47 points for the Lady Monarchs.
A native of Plains, Pa. and a 2013 graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wood earned her Bachelor's degree from King's in early elementary and special education in 2016 and is currently pursuing her Master's in Reading Specialist from King's.
