Rodney Shephard

Rodney Shephard joined the Keystone men's basketball staff as an assistant coach in September 2025. 

Shephard comes to Keystone after spending one season as an assistant coach at SUNY- Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) where he assisted with all basketball activities. He created individual video edits and scouting reports, led individual and small group workouts, and helped with recruiting. 

Shephard started his collegiate coaching career as an assistant coach at Randolph College during the 2022-23 season. He was previously an assistant varsity boys basketball coach at Allendale Columbia in Rochester, NY from 2020-2022 and the head basketball coach for the Rochester Cagers Basketball Club from March 2019-2022.

Shephard is a 2021 graduate of Houghton College where he was a four-year member of the men's basketball team. He earned his master's degree in sports administration from Canisus College in May 2022.
