The 2016 season marked the fourth season as an assistant coach of Keystone College's softball team for Doreen Howard, who helped guide the Giants to a school-record 24 wins in 2013 and a CSAC Runner-Up finish.
During the past four seasons, Keystone has posted a 64-87 overall record while going 40-48 in conference play, highlighted by the 2013 run to the CSAC Championship Game. In 2015 and 2016, the Giants finished just one spot out of the final conference playoff position.
A former standout softball and basketball player for the Giants, Coach Howard was inducted into Keystone College's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2007.
