Lindsay Kirwan

Keystone College welcomes Lindsay (Howard) Kirwan, MS, LAT, ATC, CES as the new full-time Athletic Trainer on our Sports Medicine Team.

We value Kirwan’s previous experience working with our football team and will be an excellent addition to continue their medical care and care to all our student-athletes moving forward. Lindsay is the primary athletic trainer for football, cheerleading, wrestling, and track & field.

She is a Certified Athletic Trainer through the National Board of Certification and licensed through the State of Pennsylvania. Kirwan is certified as Corrective Exercise Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and also in Functional Movement Screen Level 1 & 2. She also has additional certifications in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and Cupping Therapy through HawkGrips.

Kirwan earned her undergraduate degree in athletic training from West Chester University and her Masters of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida. 

Not only is Kirwan passionate about her job as an athletic trainer, but she is also extremely passionate about eliminating food insecurity. She partners with Weinberg Northeast Regional Food Bank to provide a continuous supply of food and drinks for the student-athletes at Keystone College.

Prior to Keystone College, she provided the students and student-athletes at Lackawanna Trail High School with a continuous supply of food and drinks for after school activities. Kirwan also had organized and ran the Children's Produce Market for those who live in Lackawanna and Wyoming County.
