La Plume, PA (11-2-09) - The Colonial States Athletic Conference has announced that Keystone College's Leah Simko (South Gibson, PA/Mountain View) has been named as an Honorable Mention selection in women's volleyball.  

In addition to her on the court award, Simko was also named as Keystone's CSAC Sportsmanship Award Recipient.

Simko, a junior from South Gibson, PA and graduate of Mountain View High School, was an anchor for a team that made its varsity return in 2009.  

She was second on the team with 163 assists and third on the teams in digs with 120.  She recorded 49 kills to go along with 28 blocks and 12 aces.

The CSAC Sportsmanship Award is awarded to a student-athlete from each team who best demonstrates the positive qualities of a student-athlete while representing their institution.
