La Plume, PA (1-27-10) - Keystone College students, employees and their families are assisting the people of Haiti by conducting a shoe drive to aid in the relief efforts of the earthquake devastated nation.
Shoe donations should consist of new or used sneakers, sandals or shoes with flat bottoms (no heels) and cleaned of any mud or dirt and free from rips.
The drive is being spearheaded by Chad Prince, head men's and women's soccer coach at the College. "Our goal is to collect at least two hundred pairs of shoes that can be used by those much less fortunate. This is an opportunity for Keystone College to come together and make a difference in people's lives outside our community," remarked Prince.
Donations can be dropped off on the first floor of the Gambal Athletic Center during normal business hours or during home basketball contests.
