Team ResultsIndividual ResultsGettysburg, PA – Keystone College's women's cross country team finished 24
th out of 26 teams at Saturday's Gettysburg College Invitational. The Giants, who placed second among three Colonial States Athletic Conference teams in the 6K race, totaled 779 points on the day.
The University of Maryland won the race with 35 points, Grove City College finished second with 91 points, and Muhlenberg College placed third with 117 points. Marywood University led the three CSAC schools in the race, finishing 11
th with 328 points and Neumann University finished one spot behind Keystone in 25
th place with 786 points.
Nicole Delevan (Forty Fort, PA/Wyoming Valley West) led Keystone by finishing 143
rd in the 280-runner field with a time of 28:57.2 while
Tameka Wood (Bronx, NY/DeWitt Clinton ) brought home a 153
rd place result after clocking in at 29:44.6.
Kelly Fisher (Weatherly, PA/Weatherly Area) was the Giants' third finisher, crossing the finish line in 30:13.5, good for 155
th place.
Alexa Jefferis (Shenandoah, PA/Shenandoah Valley) brought home a 160
th place finish after completing the course in 30:51.6 while
Kristy Keller (Taylor, PA/Riverside) rounded out Keystone's finishers in 168
th place with a mark of 36:14.0.
The Giants will be idle until the CSAC Championships which will be held on Saturday, October 31
st at McDade Park in Scranton with Marywood hosting the meet. Keystone will be looking to improve on last fall's sixth place finish at this year's conference championships, which are scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m.
