La Plume, Pa. – Keystone College's volleyball team will host a "Spike Out Ovarian Cancer" match this coming Thursday, October 20, when it hosts Misericordia University in a non-conference contest. The team is selling T-shirts and donations will also be accepted at the game between the Giants and Cougars, which starts at 7:00 p.m. in the Gambal Athletic Center.
Thursday's event is being held in honor of the late Kitty Anderson, the grandmother of Keystone sophomore
Kristen Larkin (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown), who passed away this past summer after a courageous battle. All funds raised through T-shirt sales and donations from Thursday's game will go directly to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
Volleyball players are currently selling the T-shirts, which will also be available for purchase at Thursday's match.
