La Plume, PA (2-21-09) - Immaculata University's Dominique Murray netted a game high 29 points, including her 1,000th career point, as the Mighty Macs recorded the 73-60 win over Keystone.
With the win Immaculata moves to 12-13 and 8-8 in the CSAC, while Keystone ends the year with an overall mark of 10-14 and 5-11.
Immaculata clung to a one point lead with 8:23 left in the first half before ending with a 17-8 run to take a ten point lead into the half.
The Mighty Macs built the lead to eleven before the Giants strung together a 17-5 run to take their first lead of the second half at 46-45 with 13:20 remaining in the game. The Giants trailed 51-50 with 10:37 left, however Immaculata went on an 11-0 run to ice the game.
Murray finished the day hitting 10-19 from the field and 9-13 from the line, while also rounding out the double-double with 14 of her team's 41 rebounds.
Bridget Welz finished the game with 17 points, while Chelsea McTigue and Kasey Hicks each added 10. Hicks also cleaned the glass for 10 rebounds, while also adding five assists. Welz dished out a team high six.
Sarah Barretto and Jessica Kobesky each netted 14 points to lead the Giants, while Ellen Fallon added 13. Barretto also dished out a team high five assists. Yasmeen Bates led the Giants on the boards with nine rebounds, while Barretto and Fallon added eight and Kobesky seven.
The game marked the final contest for Keystone senior Jessica Kobesky. The Dickson City native finished her career with 1,232 points, third all-time at Keystone and 871 rebounds, second best all-time in Keystone women's basketball history.
