La Plume, PA (3-25-09) - Ray Jackson and Ben Fish drove in three runs each as the Giants used a 15-hit attack to breeze by Susquehanna University 16-3.
With the victory the Giants move to 13-4 on the year, while Susquehanna falls to 9-8.
Fish, who collected two hits on the day, hit his third home run of the year as part of a six run Keystone first inning. Jackson also picked up two hits on the day, including one of Keystone's four doubles.
Eric Groff continued his torrid pace at the plate with a three-for-six outing, raising his season average to .455. Groff, who also doubled, collected threw hits and drove in two.
Ryan Smyth, Esteban Meletiche and Brandon Founds all picked up two hits, with Smyth and Donald Reese adding doubles. Founds also drove in two for the Giants, as they scored in six of the eight innings in which they came to the plate. Meletiche and Kyle Conrad each scored three times for Keystone.
Sean Murphy worked six innings of four hit ball to notch his second win of the year. Murphy allowed one run while striking out seven.
The Giants return to action on Friday at 3pm when they travel to Neumann College. The team will return home on Saturday when they welcome to Neumann to campus for a doubleheader.
