La Plume, PA (4-6-10) - Angel Fargas blasted a 10th inning home run to break a 7-7 tie and Brian Stern pitched a scoreless ninth and 10th innings as Keystone completed a three game sweep of Neumann University, 8-7.
The victory moves the Giants win streak to seven straight, as they improved their record to 14-5 and 7-2, while Neumann falls to 8-11 and 3-3.
Esteban Meletiche turned in a memorable afternoon, as the sophomore hit for the cycle in a four-for-four outing.
The contest marked the third straight one run contest between the two programs and the second straight 8-7 game.
Fargas finished the day with four hits, while driving in two and scoring twice. Meletiche drove in one and scored twice.
Keystone and Neumann combined for 35 hits on the day, 19 coming via the Giants' bats.
Ryan Smyth also homered for the Giants, while Edwin Padua tripled and Kory Leicht and Brian Del Rosso doubled to account for Keystone's extra base hits.
Stern earned the win in relief, facing seven batters over the final two innings, while not allowing a hit and striking out one.
Del Rosso, Smyth, Padua, Leicht and Eric Groff all picked up two hits in the attack. Padua picked up a pair of RBI'S to help the cause.
Meletiche banged out his cycle the hard way, leaving the single for last. He doubled in the first inning, before picking up a triple in the fourth. He homered leading off the eight inning in what was the go ahead run at the time and followed things up with a single in the ninth
The Giants will return to action on Friday at 3pm when they travel to Philadelphia Biblical University for a nine inning game.
