Montclair, NJ (4-10-12) - Connor Smith pitched seven innings of four hit ball as Keystone College rolled to a 6-2 victory over Montclair State University in non-conference baseball action.
With the victory the seventh ranked Giants move to 18-4 overall, while Montclair falls to 15-9.
Smith allowed two runs, while also striking out two to move to 3-0 on the season. Zachary Duffy worked the final two innings by striking out three and not allowing a hit.
Esteban Meletiche doubled as part of a two hit afternoon, while also scoring once and driving in one. Lymbel Guerrero also picked up a pair of hits, including a double, while scoring twice.
Andrew Siano tripled and scored twice, while Miquel Castano doubled to support the Giants 10-hit effort.
Keystone did all their scoring over a four inning stretch, starting with a single run in the second and two more in the third. They would make it a repeat in the fourth and fifth innings, with single run in the fourth followed by two more in the next frame.
The Giants will return to action on Wednesday at 3:30pm when they host the University of Scranton.
