Baltimore, MD – Keystone College's women's basketball team placed six players in double-figures and the Giants reached the century mark for the first time this season in a 102-53 victory at Notre Dame of Maryland University on Saturday afternoon in a Colonial States Athletic Conference action.  Keystone, who got points from all 10 player who saw action in the game, levels their overall record at 9-9 on the season and improves to 6-3 in conference play while completing a season sweep of the Gators, who see their record drop to 5-14 (2-9 CSAC).  
 
The Giants' offensive output tied for the fifth-highest single-game point total in program history and marks the first time the Giants hit the century mark since a 100-55 victory at Baptist Bible College on December 4, 2013.
 
The Gators built a 13-8 lead over the first 4:38 of Saturday's contest before Keystone used a scored six-straight points to take their first lead of the game.  After Notre Dame of Maryland briefly went back in front, the Giants used a 24-10 run to claim a 38-25 lead with 7:14 remaining in the opening half after AAliya Hayes (New Rochelle, NY/New Rochelle) converted a pair of free throws.   The hosts cut their deficit to as few as nine points while Keystone would lead by as many as 17 points before taking a 55-40 lead into the locker room at halftime.
 
Ashley Evans (Wooster, OH/Wooster) tallied 12 points while Jazmyn Robinson (Hyattsville, MD/Northwestern) netted 10 points in the opening 20 minutes of play to lead Keystone, with Robinson dishing out three assists in the period for the Giants, who connected on 50 percent of their attempts from the floor in the period while going 2-5 from three-point range and 15-20 from the free throw line.
 
Zaria Comer paced Notre Dame of Maryland with 12 first half points while Stephanie Roche and Allyson Whitacre added eight points apiece for the Gators, who shot 44.7 percent from the floor in the opening stanza while going 3-10 from downtown and 3-4 from the charity stripe.
 
Keystone opened the second half on a 21-4 run to extend their lead to 76-44 with 12:55 left in regulation and the Gators were unable come any closer than within 30 points as the Giants pulled away with their second win over Notre Dame of Maryland this season.
 
Evans finished with a game-high 20 points to lead Keystone while Robinson and Cierra Hensley (Frederick, MD/Frederick) netted 15 points apiece in the victory.  Hayes added 14 points, Alyssa Cuomo (Odessa, DE/Hodgson Vo-tech) scored 12 points, and Samantha Donahue (Taylor, PA/Riverside) finished with 10 points to lead the Giants offensively.  As a team, Keystone finished the game hitting on 52.3 percent of their field goal attempts while going 37.5 percent from beyond the arc and 67.4 percent from the line.
 
Robinson added game-highs of six assists and five steals, Evans collected four steals, and Hensley and Hropovich added three takeaways apiece as the Giants forced the Gators into 31 turnovers while giving the ball away just 11 times.  Robinson and Hropovich corralled seven rebounds apiece as Keystone also held a 44-38 advantage on the glass for the game.
 
The Giants scored 44 points off of turnovers compared to just six for the Gators while also outscoring the hosts in the paint, 50-18. 
 
Comer finished with a double-double on 14 points and a game-high 11 rebounds to lead Notre Dame of Maryland while Roche finished the contest with 13 points.  Whitacre and Naimani Staley chipped in with nine points apiece while Ashley Guy dished out a team-best three assists for the Gators, who ended the day shooting 34.4 percent from the field, 25 percent from three-point land, and 54.5 percent from the stripe. 
 
Keystone is scheduled to travel to Neumann University on Monday evening for a CSAC contest that is slated to tipoff at 7:00 p.m. in Aston, Pennsylvania.
