Scranton, Pa. – Marywood University scored three goals in the first 8:11 of Thursday night's Colonial States Athletic Conference women's soccer regular season finale against Keystone and cruised to an 8-0 victory to clinch the top seed in next week's CSAC playoff tournament. The Pacers, who are the defending CSAC champions, improve to 11-5 overall and 10-1 in conference play while the Giants end the 2017 campaign with a 5-10-1 (4-7 CSAC) record.
Thursday's contest marked the final game in a Keystone uniform for seniors

Renae Moken opened the scoring 4:19 into Wednesday's contest for Marywood before Jackie Vontltter and Moken netted goals separated by just 43 seconds to give the Pacers a 3-0 advantage in the ninth minute.
Emily Kotcho tallied the host's fourth goal in the 23
rd minute before Ashley Kruchinsky and Julie Youngman scored in the final 5:19 of the first half to give Marywood a comfortable 6-0 lead at halftime.
Grace Feeser got into the action in the 61
st minute for the Pacers before Sam Lindquist made it an 8-0 game in the 75
th minute to close out the scoring.
Marywood dominated statistically on the evening, outshooting Keystone by a 37-6 margin on the night including a 25-1 lead in shots on goal. The Pacers also generated seven corner kick chances to two for the Giants.
Moken had two goals and an assist to pace Marywood's offense, Youngman finished with a goal and two assists while Vonltter contributed a goal and an assist apiece for the Pacers.
Aly Moyer picked up the win in goal for the hosts without being forced to make a save in the first half while Bella DiToma and Haley Taylor split the second half with DiToma making Marywood's lone save in net.
Rebekah Shepherd (South Canaan, Pa./Western Wayne) suffered the loss for Keystone despite making nine stops in the first half while Heintz closed out her collegiate career with six stops in the second half. The visitors also had a pair of shots cleared off the line by defenders to total 17 saves as a team on the night.
Nisa Cortes (Schenectady, N.Y./Schenectady) and
Kristen Hlavaty (Scott Twp., Pa./Lakeland) attempted two shots apiece to lead the Giants in the loss.
