Offense Returns as Keystone Posts 4-1 Win at Immaculata

Tounkara scores twice to lead Giant to key conference win

Immaculata, Pa. – After being shutout in their past two game's Keystone College's offensive came alive on Saturday afternoon as the Giants posted a 4-1 victory  at Immaculata University in a Colonial States Athletic Conference men's soccer tilt.  The win lifts Keystone's record to 7-4-1 overall and 2-1-1 in conference play while the Mighty Macs slide to 3-8-1 on the fall and 1-3 in the CSAC.

The Giants staked out a 2-0 advantage at halftime by scoring a pair of goals separated by less than a minute and a half.  Kouassi Kouadio (Mount Pocono, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) netted the game's first goal with a diving header on a corner kick from Talhah Netherlin (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) for his fourth goal of the year.

Carlos Bonilla (Clermont, Fla./East Ridge) tallied his third goal off the fall in the 37th minute with Netherlin picking up his second assist of the contest and third of the year to give Keystone the two-goal cushion.

Ibrahim Tounkara (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area) gave the Giants a three-goal cushion in the 52nd minute by converting a penalty kick for his first goal of the season.

Immaculata got on the board with 20 minute left in regulation when Nick Boule scored off of an indirect kick before Tounakara closed out the scoring in the 79th minute with his second marker of the game.

Malcom Moreira (Hillside, N.J./St. Benedict Prep) made one save in the first 78:25 of action to earn his fifth win of the season while Steven Heintz, Jr. (Ardsley, Pa./Abington) made three saves in the final 11:35 of the contest for Keystone.

Mikey Kalpokas suffered the loss in Immaculata's net despite making eight saves on the day.

The Giants doubled up the Mighty Macs 20-10 in shots for the game including a 12-5 advantage in shots on target.  The Giants also held a 7-3 lead in corner kicks on the afternoon.
