Women’s Volleyball Knocks Off Cedar Crest 3-1

La PLUME, Pa. - Oct. 16, 2018 - Senior Kristen Larkin (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) floored a match-high 12 kills to lead the Keystone College women's volleyball team past Cedar Crest College 3-1 (25-23, 25-20, 15-25, 25-16) in CSAC action on Tuesday night.

With the victory, the Giants are now 8-13 (4-1 CSAC) and will head to Cairn in a CSAC match on Thursday, Oct. 18 before traveling to Radnor, Pa. for a tri-match with Marymount & host Cabrini on Saturday, Oct. 20. The Falcons move to 14-6 (4-1 CSAC) .

Keystone and Cedar Crest are now tied for second in the league standings, with three more conference matches to play in the regular season.

Larkin also contributed seven digs on the evening and was joined by senior Victoria Homfeld (Smithtown, N.Y./Hauppauge), who tallied 10 kills and 21 digs for the double-double.

Senior Taylor Beatty (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes) floored nine kills and added 14 digs while sophomore Erika Schwoyer (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom) provided six executions. Junior Amanda Hardy (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock Area) filled the stat sheet with five kills, six digs, two blocks and a match-high 34 assists.

Junior Pamela Heitman (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Walter Panas) - the reigning CSAC Defensive Player of the Week - paced the back row with a team-high 29 digs, while chipping in five assists, two aces and two kills. Freshman Madi Aston (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) came off the bench and contributed two aces.
