Larkin & Homfeld Lead Giants Past Cairn 3-1

LANGHORNE Pa. - Oct. 18, 2018 - Seniors Kristen Larkin (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) & Victoria Homfeld (Smithtown, N.Y./Hauppauge) led the Keystone College women's volleyball team with 14 kills each as the Giants claimed a 3-1 (25-22, 23-25, 25-13, 25-12) CSAC win at Cairn on Thursday night.

With the win, Keystone is 9-13 (5-1 CSAC) and will head to Cabrini on Saturday, Oct. 20 to take on the host Cavaliers and Marymount. The Highlanders fall to 7-15 (3-3 CSAC).

Larkin floored her 14 kills hitting .344 (14-3-32) and contributed five digs on the defensive end. Homfeld, meanwhile, hit .297 (14-3-37) and tallied 13 digs for the double-double.

Sophomore Erika Schwoyer (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom) enjoyed a .438 hitting performance, flooring eight kills, while junior Amanda Hardy (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock Area) distributed a match-high 46 assists.

Junior Pamela Heitman (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Walter Panas) led the back row with 24 digs and chipped in with three service aces. Senior Taylor Beatty (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes) registered 13 digs and freshman Madi Aston (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) enjoyed three aces off the bench. Freshman Erin Kibelstis (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) also notched eight digs for the Giants.
