Women's Soccer Falls 3-0 to Cairn

La PLUME, Pa. - Oct. 25, 2018 - The Keystone College women's soccer team fell 3-0 to visiting Cairn University in the final CSAC match of the fall on Thursday afternoon.

The Giants fall to 4-13-1 (4-3-1 CSAC) and will prepare for the CSAC postseason as the No. 4 seed and will be hosting No. 5 seed Rosemont on Monday, Oct. 29 with time to be announced. The Giants defeated the Ravens 4-2 back on Sept. 22.

The Highlanders improve to 10-4-3 (6-2-0 CSAC) and have secured the No. 3 seed in the CSAC tournament.

Following a scoreless first half, Cairn scored in the 68th and 75th minutes and added another score in the 88th minute to conclude the offense for the day.

Overall, sophomore Faith Shiffer (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove) led the Giant attack with three shots and junior keeper Rebekah Shepherd (South Canaan, Pa./Western Wayne) made seven saves.
