Women’s Volleyball Enjoys Senior Day With 3-0 Win Over Rosemont

La PLUME, Pa. - Oct. 27, 2018 - The Keystone College women's volleyball team enjoyed 25 service aces on Saturday - including nine from senior Kristen Larkin (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) - as the Giants defeated visiting Rosemont College 3-0 on Senior Day on Saturday afternoon.

With the victory, the Giants improve to 12-15 (7-1 CSAC) and have secured the No. 2 seed in the upcoming CSAC tournament, earning the first-round bye and will host the semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 1 with time and opponent to be determined. Rosemont ends the year at 5-18 (1-7 CSAC).

Joining Larkin in the pre-game ceremony for Senior Day was Victoria Homfeld (Smithtown, N.Y./Hauppauge) and Taylor Beatty (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes) as the program honored the trio for their dedication and commitment to the team over the past four years.

Larkin's nine aces ties Homfeld's program mark for most in a match back on Sept. 17, 2016 against Cairn. Larkin hit .429 on the day (4-1-7).

Homfeld led the team with seven kills, hitting .333 (7-2-15) while providing three digs. Beatty chipped in with four kills and two digs.

Junior Amandy Hardy dished out 19 assists and provided four aces whiel junior Pamela Heitman (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y./Walter Panas) enjoyed five aces and six digs.

Freshman Madi Aston (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) came off the bench and contributed four aces.
