Men’s Basketball Falls 80-56 to Washington (Md.) on Friday

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Nov. 16, 2018 - Sophomore Jaylen Nuckles (Corning, N.Y./Corning) led the Keystone College men's basketball team with 14 points on Friday night as the Giants fell to Washington College (Md.) 80-56 in the Case Western Reserve Tournament.

The Giants drop to 0-2 and will face Franciscan in the consolation game tomorrow at 1 pm. The Shoremen improve to 3-0 on the year and will face host Case Western in the championship at 3 pm on Saturday.

Nuckles shot 6-of-10 from the field and grabbed four boards and four steals in the loss. Both juniors Jalen Flynn (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) and Ray Mills (Philadelphia, Pa./Overbrook) tallied eight points while junior Javonte Matthews (North Hollywood, Calif./North Hollywood), sophomore Jeremy Jordan (Portsmouth, Va./I.C. Norcom) and freshman Derrick Donigan (Mt. Washington, Ky./Bullitt East) all finished with seven points each. Donigan led the Giants with seven boards.

Keystone trailed by just eight, 34-26, at intermission, as the Shoremen outscored the Giants 46-30 in the second half.
