Men’s Basketball Falls 70-60 at Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Nov. 28, 2018 - Junior Jalen Flynn (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) scored a team-high 14 points but the Keystone College men's basketball team fell at Brooklyn College 70-60 in non-conference action on Wednesday night.

With the defeat, the Giants fall to 0-5 and will head to Bryn Athyn in a CSAC contest on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 3 pm. The Bulldogs improve to 5-1 on the year.

Flynn shot 5-of-16 from the field while tallying four boards, three assists and two steals. Freshman Derrick Donigan (Mt. Washington, Ky./Bullitt East) scored 13 points, going 6-of-10 from the floor while grabbing five rebounds.

Freshman Tyler Sebastian (Ledyard, Conn./Lee Academy) tallied a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards (six defensive) and swatted two shots. Both junior Javonte Matthews (North Hollywood, Calif./North Hollywood) and sophomore Jeremy Jordan (Portsmouth, Va./I.C. Norcom) scored eight points and notched six rebounds.

The Giants trailed 37-28 at halftime but rallied in the second half, only being outscored 33-32 by the Bulldogs in the second period.
