Women’s Basketball Enjoys 83-42 Win at Bryn Athyn

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. - Dec. 1, 2018 - Five student-athletes finished in double figures for the Keystone College women's basketball team on Saturday as the Giants defeated host Bryn Athyn 83-42 in CSAC action.

With the win, the Giants improve to 3-5 (2-0 CSAC) and will travel to Morrisville State on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 12 pm. The Lions, meanwhile, fall to 0-6 (0-2 CSAC).

Leading the way offensively was senior Mayah Kitchen (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter), with 18 points, going 2-of-3 from deep and 8-of-10 from the foul line. Kitchen also provided nine boards and four assists.

Sophomore Khaliah Gordon (Philadelphia, Pa./Penn Wood) and junior Maddy Moro (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) both tallied 17 points as Gordon finished 3-of-6 from downtown to go along with six rebounds and three dimes. Moro notched a double-double with a game-high 10 rebounds.

Junior Savanna Robinson (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) enjoyed 14 points behind four three-pointers, while contributing four rebounds and three assists. Sophomore Samy Farah (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) tallied 10 points, seven rebounds and five assists off the bench.

The Giants shot 41.7 percent from three-point land (10-of-24) and forced 27 Lion turnovers, leading to 36 Keystone points. Keystone won the first quarter, 19-8, and claimed a 47-21 lead at halftime.
