Doylestown, Pa.—The Keystone College women's lacrosse team opened up a four-goal lead with 15 minutes remaining, but Delaware Valley fought back to pull out a dramatic 16-15 victory in overtime in non-conference women's lacrosse action Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore attacker Amanda McKeegan scored the game-winning goal by converting a free-position shot on a man-down situation to cap off a two-goal, two-assist effort to help the Aggies improve to 1-0. Sophomore midfielder Sabrina Butler led Delaware Valley with four goals and an assist, freshman Jaden Keefer finished with three goals, and freshman midfielder Claire Gamache and senior midfielder Kara Imes chipped in two goals and an assist each.

April Llewellyn (Plains, Pa./Coughlin) scored three goals apiece. The Giants, who held a 32-25 advantage in ground balls, also received two goals and an assist from senior tri-captain
Emily Hawkins (Glenside, Pa./Cheltenham), two goals from freshman attacker Alex Williams, and a goal and two assists from senior tri-captain
Nina Hodanich (Scranton, Pa./West Scranton).
Tied 6-6 at intermission and 8-8 early in the second half, Keystone went on a 5-1 run that featured two goals and an assist from Robinson to take a 13-9 lead. Keefer and Imes then scored two goals apiece to ignite a 5-1 rally over a 10-minute span that gave Delaware Valley a 14-13 advantage with 4:53 left.
The Giants tied it up with 1:58 left on an unassisted goal by Robinson, followed by a goal a minute later by Llewellyn off of an assist from Hodanich to give Keystone its final lead, 15-14. With 32 seconds left, senior attacker Taylor Teliszewski tied it up off of play set up by Gamache to tie it and send it into overtime, where McKeegan's heroics proved to be the difference.
Overall, the game featured six ties and nine lead changes.

Daphne Leenas (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland Regional) played all 61 minutes in goal for the Giants and finished with 16 saves while her counterpart, junior Amanda Dietrich, stopped 12 shots for the Aggies.
Keystone returns to action on Tuesday, March 13, against Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, beginning at 4:00 p.m.
