La PLUME, Pa. - Sept. 22, 2018 - A Cairn goal in the 11th minute proved to be the difference as the Keystone College men's soccer team fell to the visiting Highlanders 1-0 in the CSAC opener for both squads on Saturday.

The loss snapped a five-match winning streak vs. Cairn (last lost in 2012) as the Giants move to 5-3-0, 0-1-0 CSAC. Cairn improves to 4-3-1, 1-0-0 CSAC.

Overall, the Giants outshot the Highlanders 11-5, as sophomore Khadim Thiam (New York, N.Y./Washington Irving) led the attack with three shots. Junior Ibrahim Tounkara (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area) and sophomore Carlos Bonilla (Clermont, Fla./East Ridge) both fired off two shots apiece.

The Giants will prepare to head to Bryn Athyn in a CSAC match on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 4 pm.
