Bonilla & Zuniga Score in 4-2 Loss at Lebanon Valley

ANNVILLE, Pa. - Sept. 8, 2018 - Sophomore Carlos Bonilla (Clermont, Fla./East Ridge) and junior Daniel Zuniga (Lakeland, Fla./McKeel Academy) both scored for the Keystone College men's soccer team but the host Dutchmen from Lebanon Valley were too strong offensively as the Giants fell 4-2 on Saturday afternoon.

The Giants (2-2-0) will play three matches this upcoming week: at Cazenovia on Sept. 11, home vs. PSU Hazleton on Sept. 13 and home vs. Wilkes on Sept. 15. Lebanon Valley improves to 2-1-0.

C. Bonilla found the back of the net in the 20th minute, off an assist from senior Kouassi Kouadio (Mount Pocono, Pa./Pocono Mountain East), to give Keystone an early 1-0 lead. However, Leb Val went on to score three unanswered goals to claim a 3-1 edge early in the second half.

In the 63rd minute, Zuniga headed home his second score of the year, off a set piece pass from freshman Sebastian Bonilla (Clermont, Fla./East Ridge), to get Keystone within one, 3-2. Unfortunately, the Dutchmen scored in the 82nd minute to put the match away.

Freshman Marcelo Polar (Lima, Peru/Sarasota Military Academy) made four saves in his collegiate debut.
