Khaliah Gordon (Philadelphia, Pa./Penn Wood) scored a team-high 12 points off the bench as the Keystone College women's basketball team fell to visiting Rosemont College 85-41 in CSAC action on Saturday afternoon.
With the defeat, Keystone drops to 7-7, 4-2 CSAC as the Giants head to Clarks Summit on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 6 pm before returning home to host Centenary on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 1 pm.
With the victory, Rosemont improves to 12-3, 6-0 CSAC and the Ravens host Cairn on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 6 pm.
Gordon shot 5-of-9 from the field and provided five rebounds, three steals and two assists in 25 minutes of play.
Senior
Mayah Kitchen (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter) notched eight points, seven rebounds and two steals while freshman
Mac Oribello (San Diego, Calif./Westview) and junior
Savanna Robinson (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) both tallied six points each.
Sophomore
Samy Farah (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) grabbed a team-high eight rebounds while sophomore
Faith Shiffer (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove) notched five points, five boards, two assists and one steal.
The Ravens led 39-16 at halftime and outscored the Giants 25-10 in the third quarter. Rosemont was led by 18 points and 11 rebounds from Ashley Murray. Jayme Byers finished with 17 points and three other Ravens finished in double figures.
