Jalen Flynn (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) scored a team-high 14 points but the Keystone College men's basketball team fell to visiting Amherst College 88-61 on Wednesday afternoon.
With the defeat, Keystone drops to 0-13 as the Giants will host Cairn in CSAC action on Saturday, Jan. 5 at 1 pm. Amherst improves to 9-1 and the Mammoths will host Trinity (Conn.) on Friday, Jan. 4 at 7 pm.
Flynn shot 5-of-14 from the field, including three makes from long range, to go along with eight rebounds and three assists.
Juniors
Ray Mills (Philadelphia, Pa./Overbrook) and
Austin Smith (Titusville, Fla./Florida Air Academy) both finished with 11 points each, combining to make four three pointers.
The Giants trailed 47-34 at halftime before being outscored 41-27 in the second half.
