Women’s Basketball Falls at Wilson 70-58

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Jan. 22, 2019 - Freshman Mac Oribello (San Diego, Calif./Westview) scored a team-high 21 points off the bench but the Keystone College women's basketball team fell Wilson College 70-58 in CSAC action on Tuesday evening.

With the defeat, Keystone is now 9-8, 6-3 CSAC and the Giants host Cedar Crest on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 6 p.m. before traveling to league-leading Rosemont on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 1 p.m.

By winning, Wilson improves to 10-6, 5-4 CSAC and the Phoenix travel to Centenary (N.J.) on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 6 p.m. and host Clarks Summit on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 1 p.m.

Oribello shot 8-of-22 from the field, including four three-pointers, to go along with two rebounds and two assists in 29 minutes of play.

Sophomore Khaliah Gordon (Philadelphia, Pa./Penn Wood) tallied nine points, a game-high five steals, three rebounds and three assists while sophomore Samy Farah (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) scored eight points while providing seven rebounds and two steals.

Senior Mayah Kitchen (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter) - the reigning CSAC Defensive Player of the Week - scored eight points and grabbed seven rebounds while both junior Savanna Robinson (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) and sophomore Faith Shiffer (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove) scored six points apiece, with Shiffer going 2-of-4 from downtown.

For the Phoenix, Kai Wyatt scored a game-high 27 points while Lindsey Purvis enjoyed a double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds.
