Balanced Scoring Leads Giants Over Cedar Crest 68-53

La PLUME, Pa. – Jan. 24, 2019 – Four players scored in double figures for the Keystone College women's basketball team in Thursday's 68-53 CSAC win over visiting Cedar Crest College.

With the league victory, Keystone improves to 10-8, 7-3 CSAC and the Giants travel to league-leading Rosemont College on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 1 p.m. With the loss, Cedar Crest drops to 5-14, 4-6 CSAC and the Falcons host Wilson College on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m.

Senior Mayah Kitchen (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter), sophomore Samy Farah (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) and sophomore Khaliah Gordon (Philadelphia, Pa./Penn Wood) all finished with 16 points apiece and freshman Mac Oribello (San Diego, Calif./Westview) followed with 14 points to lead the balanced offensive attack for the Giants.

Kitchen finished with a double-double as the senior shot 7-of-15 from the field while registering 10 boards, four steals and three assists. Farah also enjoyed a double-double with a team-high 12 rebounds to go along with two assists.

Gordon tallied a game-best eight steals to go along with five rebounds and four assists. Oribello notched three steals, two boards and two assists.

Junior Savanna Robinson (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) chipped in five points, three rebounds and two steals in the conference win.

For the Falcons, Mackenzie Borger and Meghan Gregory combined to scored 41 of the team's 53 points. Borger scored a game-high 28 points on 11-of-23 shooting while Gregory tallied 13 points and grabbed a game-best 16 rebounds.

The Giants led 38-27 at halftime and used a 15-8 fourth quarter to pull away at the end of regulation.
