Giants Enjoy 3-0 Win at Centenary; Robinson Becomes Program Point Leader

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The Keystone College field hockey team enjoyed a 3-0 victory at Centenary University in CSAC action on Wednesday.
  • Keystone improves to 7-6 (3-0 CSAC) and will head to No. 11 Kean University on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 1 p.m.
  • The Cyclones move to 5-7 (2-1 CSAC).
  • Senior Savanna Robinson (Laflin, Pa./Coughlin) scored twice, in the 11th minute and again in the 55th minute, for her 15th & 16th goals of the year.
  • With her 4 points, Robinson now has 107 career points, surpassing Hope Krolewski's 106 from 2009-13, becoming the all-time point leader in program history.
  • Freshman Miranda Mascia (Blakeslee, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) scored in the 49th minute, thanks to an assist from sophomore Julia Blahut (Pompton Plains, N.J./Pequannock).
  • Robinson led all players with 12 shots while juniors Jackie Martin (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale) & Heaven Houck (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale) tallied 2 each.
  • Senior Megan Novak (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) made 2 stops to earn the shutout, her 4th of the year.
  • Keystone outshot Centenary 20-4 on the day.
