Men’s Soccer Defeats Rosemont 5-1 in CSAC Action





La PLUME, Pa. - The Keystone College men's soccer team enjoyed a 5-1 CSAC win over visiting Rosemont on Wednesday night.
  • The Giants improve to 10-4-1 (5-1-0 CSAC) and will head to Centenary on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. for the final regular season match.
  • The Ravens drop to 7-8-1 (3-2-0 CSAC).
  • Wednesday served as Tunkhannock Youth Soccer Night as well as Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer, as the program donated proceeds towards the cause.
  • Senior Daniel Zuniga (Lakeland, Fla./McKeel Academy) netted his 9th goal of the year in the 8th minute while senior Andrew Lupinacci (Stratford, N.J./Sterling) scored in the 14th minute to give Keystone a 2-0 lead.
  • Freshman Emmanuel Onwubiko (Newtown Square, Pa./Upper Darby) tallied a goal in the 42nd minute while sophomore Sebastian Bonilla (Clermont, Fla./East Ridge) tallied a marker in the 48th minute.
  • Onwubiko enjoyed his 2nd of the night in the 79th minute.
  • Junior Carlos Bonilla (Clermont, Fla./East Ridge) dished out 2 assists while S. Bonilla & Zuniga both tallied one assist.
  • Keystone outshot the Ravens 22-3.
