Field Hockey Enjoys 10-0 Blanking of Bryn Athyn

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. - The Keystone College field hockey team exploded for a 10-0 CSAC win at Bryn Athyn College on Friday night.
  • The Giants improve to 9-7 (4-0 CSAC) and will return home to host Lancaster Bible in CSAC action on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.
  • This will be the Giants' first home game since Oct. 5.
  • The Lions drop to 1-11 (0-5 CSAC).
  • Two different players tallied hat tricks for Keystone as senior April Llewellyn (Plains, Pa./Coughlin) & senior Savanna Robinson (Laflin, Pa./Coughlin) registered 3 goals each.
  • Junior Taylor Cercone (Dallas, Pa./Lake Lehman) enjoyed 2 scores.
  • Junior Heaven Houck (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale) opened up the scoring in the 6th minute.
  • April Llewellyn (Plains, Pa./Coughlin) notched goals in the 11th, 22nd & 23rd minute.
  • Robinson tallied scores in the 18th, 21st & 35th minute.
  • Cercone enjoyed markers in the 33rd & 39th minute.
  • Senior Daphne Leenas (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland Regional) scored her 1st goal of the year in the 45th minute & also tallied a defensive save.
  • Junior Jackie Martin (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale), senior Amy Llewellyn (Plains, Pa./Coughlin) & Leenas all contributed an assist on the night.
  • Keystone outshot Bryn Athyn 38-2, as Robinson led the way with 15 shots.
  • Robinson now has 50 points on the year, tying Hope Krolewski's single-season program mark set in 2012.
