Robinson’s Game Winner Lifts Giants Past Wilson 2-1 in OT





La PLUME, Pa. – The Keystone College field hockey team enjoyed a 2-1 overtime win over visiting Wilson College on Saturday afternoon in a rematch of last year's CSAC title game.
  • Senior Savanna Robinson (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) caged both goals for the Giants and now has 12 goals on the year and 99 career points.
  • The Giants are now 4-6 (1-0) CSAC and will head to Arcadia on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m.
  • Keystone will play six-straight road games before returning home on Oct. 30.
  • Wilson scored in just the 6th minute of play to grab a 1-0 lead early on.
  • Following intermission, Robinson caged her first of the day at 49:02.
  • In the first overtime, Robinson tallied the game-winning goal at 68:16.
  • Robinson led all players with 14 shots as Keystone outshot Wilson 21-7.
  • Junior Jackie Martin (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale) tallied 5 shots while senior Amy Llewellyn (Plains, Pa./Coughlin) notched 2 shots.
  • Senior Megan Novak (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) made 2 saves on the day.
  • Keystone held a 24-10 advantage on penalty corners.
