Lloyd Sets Career HR Mark in Softball Sweep of Cairn

La PLUME, Pa. – Junior Shannon Lloyd (King of Prussia, Pa./Archbishop John Carroll) became the all-time program leader in career home runs in Saturday's CSAC sweep of visiting Cairn University as the Keystone College softball team won game one, 14-0 before winning game two, 8-0.

Lloyd now has 18 career long balls (5 this season) and passes Abby Cohen, who accrued 17 homers from 2010-13. Lloyd is hitting .574 (27-for-47) this year with five homers, five doubles, three triples and 26 RBI.

With the doubleheader win, the Giants are now 7-11 (2-0 CSAC) and will play at Neumann University on Tuesday, April 2 at 3 p.m. The Highlanders drop to 5-9 (1-3 CSAC).
