ASTON, Pa. – The Keystone College softball team fell at Neumann University on Tuesday in a non-conference doubleheader, dropping game one, 1-0, before falling in game two, 8-0, in six innings.
The Giants are now 7-13 overall and will travel to Cabrini tomorrow at 3 p.m. The Knights improve to 15-7 on the year.

Senior
Alyssa Hughes (Sellersville, Pa./Pennridge) pitched a great game, tossing 6 1/3 frames, allowing just two hits and striking out one, before giving up the winning run in the bottom of the seventh. Hughes forced nine fly outs and eight ground outs and walked three.
Freshman
Lexy Johnson (Newark, Del./Delaware Military Academy) went 2-for-3 at the leadoff spot while junior
Mariah Loughney (Jermyn, Pa./Lakeland) was hit by a pitch.
Neumann 8, Keystone 0 (6 innings)
Hughes and sophomore
Paige Mokychic (Beaumont, Pa./Tunkhannock Area) finished 1-for-3 as the Giants finished with two hits and were plagued with three errors.
Sophomore
Lauren Smith (Scotrun, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) suffered the loss, going 5 1/3 innings while allowing five earned runs and striking out one. Smith forced 11groundouts in the defeat.
