SCRANTON, Pa. – The Keystone College women's tennis team concluded the 2019 season with a 9-0 defeat at Marywood University on Monday afternoon.
The Giants wrap up the year at 1-8 overall while the Pacers improve to 7-11.
Playing in her final collegiate tennis match was senior
Devinne Scott (Scranton, Pa./West Scranton), the 2019 CSAC Women's Tennis Player of the Year. Scott fell 8-1 at flight #1 doubles and dropped a 6-1, 7-5 decision at flight #1 singles.
Freshman
Mia Capalongo (Taylor, Pa./Riverside) fell 6-1, 6-1 at flight #2 singles while sophomore
Hasheny Kalapnath (Tobyhanna, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) fell 6-1, 6-0 at flight #4 singles. Freshman
Sabrina Moyer (Tamaqua, Pa./Tamaqua Area) dropped a 6-0, 6-1 decision at flight #5 while sophomore
Hailey Curreri (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale) was defeated 6-1, 6-1 at flight #6.
