Robinson & Williams Score in 4-2 Loss at Wesley

DOVER, Del. - The Keystone College field hockey team fell to host Wesley College 4-2 in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.
  • With the defeat, the Giants drop to 3-6 and will host Wilson College in the CSAC opener on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 1 p.m.
  • The Wolverines improve to 7-2 overall.
  • Senior Savanna Robinson (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) scored the 1st goal of the game to give Keystone a 1-0 lead in the 2nd quarter.
  • For Robinson, this is her 10th goal and 22nd point of the year & now has 95 career points.
  • Following 2 goals by Wesley, junior Alex Williams (Elkton, Md./The Tome School) found the back of the cage in the 3rd quarter - thanks to an assist by freshman Miranda Mascia (Blakeslee, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) - to tie the contest at 2-2.
  • However, the Wolverines scored 2 unanswered goals to close out the game.
  • Senior Megan Novak (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) made 11 saves in the cage - her 3rd game this year with dougle-digit stops.
  • Senior Daphne Leenas (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland Regional) made one defensive save for her league-leading 6th of the year & ranks in the top-10 of Division III.
