La PLUME, Pa. – The Keystone College field hockey team dropped a 4-1 decision to visiting St. Thomas Aquinas College on Saturday.
- With the loss, the Giants fall to 1-3 on the year.
- Keystone heads to Keuka College on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 4 p.m.
- Junior Taylor Cercone (Dallas, Pa./Lake Lehman) scored in just the 3rd minute of action, thanks to an assist from senior Savanna Robinson (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin).
- The Spartans knotted the game up at 1-1 in the 19th minute.
- STAC scored three goals in the second half, including two in the fourth quarter.
- Robinson led the team with five shots (4 on goal).
- Senior Megan Novak (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) finished with 10 saves in the cage.
- Four different players scored for the Spartans.
