Flynn & Mills Combine for 39 in 86-84 Defeat to Centenary

La PLUME, Pa. – The Keystone College men's basketball team dropped a tight 86-84 decision to visiting Centenary University on Wednesday night in CSAC action.
  • With the loss, Keystone drops to 9-14 (5-7 CSAC) & will travel to Wilson College on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 3 p.m.
  • League-leading Centenary improves to 16-7 (11-1 CSAC).
  • Senior Jalen Flynn (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) tallied a team-high 20 points on 8-of-16 shooting while senior Ray Mills (Philadelphia, Pa./Overbrook) provided 19 points off the bench.
  • Flynn & Mills combined to shoot 8-of-15 from deep.
  • Junior Tone Cockrell (Upper Marlboro, Md./Landon School) tallied 16 points, a game-high 13 assists & 7 rebounds while junior Jeremy Jordan (Portsmouth, Va./I.C. Norcom) enjoyed 13 points & 6 boards.
  • Junior Tyrell Lacoste (Aberdeen, Md./Aberdeen) & freshman Jalen Gregory (Scranton, Pa./West Scranton) combined for 11 points & 10 rebounds.
  • Junior Jaylen Nuckles (Corning, N.Y./Corning) & freshman Marcus Bauman (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) combined for 5 points & 10 boards.
  • For the Cyclones, Tom Weiler recorded a double-double with 20 points & 11 rebounds while Chris LaBelle enjoyed 17 points & 10 boards.
  • Centenary led 41-37 at intermission.
  • Keystone led by 6 points (69-63) with 8 minutes left in the game.
