Women’s Basketball Runs Past Cedar Crest 104-46



La PLUME, Pa. –
The Keystone College women's basketball team ran past visiting Cedar Crest College 104-46 in CSAC action on Wednesday night in Ace Spalding Arena.
  • With the win, Keystone improves to 15-5 (13-0 CSAC) & will travel to Rosemont College on Feb. 8 at 1 p.m.
  • Cedar Crest drops to 5-15 (4-9 CSAC) on the year.
  • For the Giants, this was the most points scored since a 102-53 win over Notre Dame of Maryland back on Jan. 31, 2015.
  • Junior Khaliah Gordon (Philadelphia, Pa./Penn Wood) notched a game-high 22 points off the bench behind 10-of-13 shooting to go along with 5 assists, 4 rebounds & 3 steals.
  • Freshman Katie Price (Fredonia, N.Y./Fredonia) enjoyed 21 points on 5-of-6 shooting from deep, while providing 4 assists, 2 steals & 2 boards.
  • Sophomore Mac Oribello (San Diego, Calif./Westview) tallied 13 points, 11 assists, 6 rebounds & 3 steals while junior Faith Shiffer (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove) recorded 12 points & 4 helpers.
  • Sophomore Bella Lamonea (Glendora, Calif./South Hills) tallied 10 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists & 3 steals while freshman Renata Alberici (Hazlet, N.J./Raritan) tallied 9 points, 3 steals & 2 rebounds.
  • Junior Samy Farah (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) & freshman Megan Weber (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport Area) combined for 13 points, 8 rebounds & 3 assists while freshman Naomi Hanton (Bristow, Va./Patriot) & sophomore Taylor Millard (Susquehanna, Pa./Susquehanna) each tallied 2 points.
  • For the Falcons, Ashley Wilson tallied 18 points, going 10-for-10 from the foul line.
  • Keystone jumped out to a 26-11 lead after the 1st and led 58-23 at the break before outscoring Cedar Crest 46-23 in the 2nd half.
  • The Giants shot 61.5% from the field (40-of-65), 56.5% from three (13-of-23) & forced 23 turnovers, scoring 33 points off those miscues.
