Lamonea Scores 31 in 88-61 Win at Rosemont

ROSEMONT, Pa. - The Keystone College women's basketball team cruised to an 88-61 CSAC victory at Rosemont College on Saturday afternoon. 
  • With the win, Keystone improves to 16-5 (14-0 CSAC) & will host Centenary University on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 6 p.m.
  • The Giants are now on an 11-game winning streak.
  • Rosemont drops to 6-15 (4-10 CSAC) with the loss.
  • Sophomore Bella Lamonea (Glendora, Calif./South Hills) pumped in a game-high 31 points behind 12-of-18 shooting from the field & 7-of-10 shooting from long distance. 
  • Lamonea also provided 8 rebounds, 2 steals & 1 assist.
  • Freshman Katie Price (Fredonia, N.Y./Fredonia) notched 16 points, going 4-of-4 from deep, to go along with 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal & 1 block.
  • Junior Khaliah Gordon (Philadelphia, Pa./Penn Wood) enjoyed 11 points, 4 steals, 3 assists & 2 rebounds while freshman Renata Alberici (Hazlet, N.J./Raritan) tallied 11 points (7-of-10 FT) & 9 boards.
  • Sophomore Mac Oribello (San Diego, Calif./Westview) recorded 7 points, 7 assists & 2 steals while junior Samy Farah (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) notched 7 points & 2 boards.
  • Junior Faith Shiffer (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove) & freshman Naomi Hanton (Bristow, Va./Patriot) combined for 5 points, 4 rebounds & 3 helpers.
  • For the Ravens, Angel Ricks & Ke'Alohilani Naone-Carter both notched 13 points.
  • Keystone jumped out to a 25-18 lead after the 1st quarter & held a 42-29 lead at the break.
  • The Giants then outscored Rosemont 23-6 in the 3rd quarter.
  • For the game, Keystone shot 50.8% from the field (31-of-61) & 51.9% from three (14-of-27) while forcing 22 Rosemont turnovers.
