DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Keystone College field hockey team enjoyed a 7-0 shutout victory in non-conference action at Delaware Valley University on Wednesday afternoon.
With the win, the Giants improve to 9-4 while the Aggies drop to 1-12.
Standout Performers
Vicky Mainero (Francisco Alvarez, Buenos Aires, Argentina/St. Patrick's College) tallied two goals and two assists and rattled off five shots on goal. Her scores came in the 19th and 57th minutes.
Maria Tomada (Buenos Aires, Aregentina/San Vicente de Paul) enjoyed a pair of scores on three shots, notching a goal just 26 seconds into the match with the other occurring via penalty stroke in the 37th minute.
Courtney Dwyer (Scranton, PA/Lackawanna Trail) notched one goal and one helper while Alex Williams (Elkton, Md./The Tome School) and Shannon Green (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock Area) each contributed a goal each. Julia Blahut (Pompton Plains, N.J./Pequannock) tallied one assist.
In the cage, Hannah Osbahr (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) and Casey Stratton (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) combined for the shutout with nine saves, with Osbahr making seven stops.
Inside the Box Score
Keystone outshot Del Val 16-13 and held a 15-9 penalty corner advantage. All of the Giants' shots were on target.
