Men’s Soccer Enjoys Senior Day Win Over Cairn

La PLUME, Pa. - The Keystone College men's soccer team earned a key 1-0 victory over visiting Cairn University in CSAC action on Saturday.

  • With the victory, the Giants improve to 8-6-1 (5-1-0 CSAC) while the Highlanders drop to 9-3-2 (4-1-1 CSAC).
  • Keystone now has 15 points for 2nd place with Cairn having 13 points for 3rd place in the CSAC table.

Standout Performers

  • Axel Gonzalez (Bernardsville, N.J./Bernards) netted the game's lone goal in the 61st minute on a penalty kick for his eighth marker of the season. Gonzalez led all players with five shots.
  • Francois Elize (Fresno, Texas/State Fair Community College) tallied three shots for the KC attack.
  • Erick Gomez (New Orleans, La./John Ehret) made one save for the clean sheet.
  • Prior to the game, the program honored its senior members, Andres Rizo (Freehold, N.J./Freehold Boro) and Jaylen Walters (Allentown, Pa./William Allen).
